International Wushu Federation Events
There are 4 supreme World Wushu Events administered by the International Wushu Federation.
1. World Wushu Championships (contemporary forms and fighting)
2. World Junior Wushu Championships (contemporary forms and fighting)
3. World Traditional Wushu Championships (traditional forms)
4. World Sanda Cup (contemporary fighting)
Wushu is also included in the Asian Games, East Asian Games, South Asian Games, South East Asian Games, Mediterranean Games, World Games and SportAccord World Combat Games. Wushu is currently seeking inclusion in the African, Pacific, Commonwealth Games, and is on the shortlist to be included in the 2020 Olympic Games. Each IWUF Continental Federation and Member Country also organises their own wushu championships and events.
