Wei Zhao - New Zealand Kung-Fu Wushu Federation Sport Wushu Coach - Auckland
Wei holds the rank of Six Duan Wushu awarded by the Chinese Wushu Association and is a International Wushu Federation accredited International Taolu Judge and well as a China 1st Class National Judge. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Sports, from Harbin University, China. Wei is a member of the New Zealand Kung Fu Wushu Federation Executive.

Wushu (武術), commonly known as Kung Fu, is a form of contemporary Chinese martial arts that blends elements of performance and martial application. Wushu training emphasises quickness, explosive power, and natural, relaxed movement. The wushu practitioner must combine flexibility with strength, speed and flawless technique, fierce intent with effortless execution.
Coach Wei Zhao, a professional athlete from China, is very passionate about wushu. He is proficient in many styles of wushu and weaponary, both traditional and modern, and tailors his lessons to suit different people’s needs. His club aims to provide the best facilities possible and students have the privilege to train on a professional wushu carpet.
Wei's specialty is competitive wushu training. Many of his students aspire to compete internationally. A lot of hard work is involved but it is also a lot of fun at the same time. Wei welcomes anybody of any age and all abilities. However, ideally children are age 6 years or above. First lessons are free so come along and meet us!
