POLICY GUIDELINES
The Societies' Policy Guidelines were revised on 1 Dec 2025 ahead of the Federation’s AGM on 16 Dec 2025, and prior to the Federation’s re-registration under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. The re-registration included the adoption of a new Constitution and a formal change to the Federation’s name, now Kung-Fu Wushu New Zealand Incorporated (The Society). These policy guidelines have been reviewed and aligned to the Societies’ new Constitution. The Societies’ new Constitution shall be the definitive document in any matters pertaining to interpretation between these Policy Guidelines and the Constitution.
The Societies' Policy Guidelines apply to the members, officials, staff, volunteers and contractors of The Society, as well as all participants, including competitor, coach, judge, official, medical staff, parent, caregiver, observer, volunteer involved in Kungfu/Wushu (Chinese martial arts) activities, events, competitions and environments we are responsible for. Including, New Zealand representative teams-team delegation, at international or continental competitions-events hosted by affiliated kung fu wushu organisations, including IWUF and KWO. The policies must be reviewed annually before each Annual General Meeting.
