Membership Categories
Constituent Member:
Sport Kung-Fu Wushu Clubs and Traditional Chinese martial arts clubs. All students covered - $60 per year - 1 vote
Kung-Fu Wushu means all recognised and recognisable forms of modern (sport) kungfu-wushu (taolu and sanda), traditional kung-fu, tai chi (including modified tai chi such as that designed for falls prevention and rehabilitation), and health related Chinese arts such as qi-gong.
Associate Member:
Non-Sport Kung-Fu Wushu Clubs and Non-Traditional Chinese martial arts clubs. All students covered - $30 per year - No vote
This membership category is mostly for non-Sanda Combat Clubs such as UFC, MMA, Kickboxing, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Ju-Jitsu, Boxing etc, which enables such clubs to participate in the Federation’s Sanda events.
Individual Member:
From any martial arts club. Individual only covered - $10 per year - No vote
Open to individuals from Sport Kung-Fu Wushu Clubs and Traditional Chinese martial arts clubs, or not belonging to any club - Unless otherwise exempted, Individual membership is not available to active teachers of Sport Kung-Fu Wushu Clubs and Traditional Chinese martial arts clubs.
Cultural Member:
Chinese cultural and health groups. All members covered - $10 per year - No vote
Open to any group or organisation involved in the promotion of Chinese culture through activities such as Lion, Dragon or Kung-Fu
Dance or through traditional Chinese medicine and healing arts such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Qi-Gong and Herbal Medicine
