The New Zealand Martial Arts Hall of Fame was formed in 1997 to “honor those martial artists who have contributed, served and cultivated martial arts in New Zealand in an outstanding manner”. NZMAHOF was co-founded by Kati Unuia (Tien Shan Pai) and Dave Millar (Jiu Jitsu) who is also the current National President, a position held for over 10 years. Please feel free to visit www.nzmahof.org.nz for further information or contact NZMAHOF President: Kaicho-Shihan Dave Millar on [email protected].

Many Inductees to the NZMAHOF are nominated over time for Induction into the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame (AMAHOF), which was formed in 1996 for the purpose of “giving worldwide recognition to the contributions and dedication made to the industry by martial artists from all disciplines”. AMAHOF inductees are jointly inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame on the same night. Visit: www.amahof.com or contact AMAHOF President: Ramon Lawrence on [email protected].
